Broken Records was founded by Keith Mohr, who is also the founder of Indieheaven.com.

Broken Records partners with proactive independent Christian artists who are demonstrating a commitment to excellence and unbridled passion in their music mission.

Broken Records is a different type of label, signing artists to 180 deals, which is 180 degrees opposite of what labels are offering artists these days. Typically, labels sign artists to 360 deals, which means they take a portion of income from all facets of the artists income stream.

Broken Records does not demand a percentage of the artists income. Instead, the label leaves it up to the artists to sow back into the label as they see value from the partnership. A very different model, for very different times.
